She Said Feck Records is a management and record label located in Fredericton, NB, established in 2018. SSF is currently representing 3 acts on a full-time basis; punk rock three-piece The Merci Buckets, four-piece stoner metal Diner Drugs, 3 piece no fuss rock and roll Poets and Liars and southern blues quintet The Tortoise the Hare & the Millionaire. SSF also retains several musicians on specific project-based contracts for album and video releases, grant writing, royalty collection, social media support, and public relations/communication support.

Owner/Operator Kate Butler has a background in media studies/journalism (St. Thomas BA ‘06) and communications (Royal Roads MA ‘16) and over the past 10+ years has focused on music-based projects including long-standing contracts with The Cap and Shivering Songs Festival and facilitation opportunities with Music NB, ECMA’s, FestForward, Girls+ Rock Camp and Flourish Festival. SSF has also worked with such musicians as The Hypochondriacs, Penny Blacks, Janowskii, and Go Homeboy!.

She Said Feck was nominated for Music NB’s Industry Professional of the Year (2023) and for an East Coast Music Award (ECMA) for Manager of the Year in 2021 and 2022.

She Said Feck Records retains sole music supervisor credit on NB feature film Queen of the Andes (2020) and co-music supervisor credit on NB feature film Do I Know You From Somewhere (2024).

In 2019 Butler was 1 of 11 participants in the CMI Music Managers 8-week incubator program in Toronto.

Butler has lent her time and experience as Music PEI Juror, ECMA Juror, and Harvest Jazz and Blues Stingray Rising Star Judge.

SSF is committed to being an ally and ensuring venues, bars, and festivals provide and educate their teams, staff and volunteers on safer spaces policies.

She Said Feck are live music fans first with roots in the all ages DIY punk scene growing up with the likes of Moneen, Choke, Sylvie, Layaway Plan, Chixdiggit, Cancer Bats and Alexisonfire.
